Final date added for Damien Dempsey Christmas performances
Damien Dmepsey has announced a third and final Traditional Christmas Show at Vicat Street with full backing band.
One of Ireland's greatest singer-songwriters, Damien released his debut album They Don’t Teach This Shit in School in 2000 and set himself on a course for bigger things.
Championed by Sinead O'Connor, throughout his early career, Damien teamed up with producer John Reynolds for his second album Seize the Day in 2003 and began to tour extensively.
Since his first live outings in the mid-1990s, Damien’s gigs have seen him wow audiences across the globe, and his performances have taken on a spiritual and soulful quality. These outings have been captured on two recordings: Live at the Olympia and Live from Vicar Street.
Damien Dempsey has already sold out two nights in December. December 23 will see Dempsey play one more time at Vicar Street.
Tickets priced €32.50 go on sale Friday October 28 at 9am ticketmaster.ie & outlets nationwide.
