Electric Picnic tickets sell out hours after announcing lineup
Kendrick Lamar, Massive Attack and NERD are to headline this summers now sold out festival, Electric Picnic
Yesterday, Electric Picnic announced this years headline acts and just hours later, the entire festival was sold out. Joining the headliners are acts such as Dua Lipa, Ben Howard, St Vincent and the Kooks.
On Thursday at the lineup launch, festival promoter Melvin Benn said he had sold 30,000 of the 52,000 capacity venue before the line up was announced and by late morning today, they were all gone.

The line up this year is very different to it's usual guitar-led band lineup but Benn said that reflects the zeitgeist. Clearly its worked as this is one of the fastest sell outs of the festival in a long time.
