A suspected militant attack on a mosque in north Sinai this afternoon has left at least 75 wounded and 54 killed
The mosque is situated in Egypt’s north Sinai. More specifically in Bir al-Abed, west of the provincial capital, Arish city.
Reportedly, supporters of the security forces attending prayers there were the intended victims.

They planted explosives around the mosque and detonated them as worshippers left. The atttackers then opened fire at those who fled.
