Ed Sheeran to perform secret gig in Dublin tonight
The secret gig comes ahead of his Dublin 3Arena show on December 9.
Ed Sheeran is set to perform a surprise show in Dublin this evening, with a select group of fans invited to an intimate, one-night-only gig.
The English singer-songwriter’s top Spotify listeners in Ireland received exclusive invitations to the event, described as a “once-in-a-lifetime” performance celebrating his biggest hits.
The venue will remain undisclosed until around two hours before the concert begins.
According to the Irish Mirror, the invitation reads: “As a top fan and premium user on Spotify, you're invited to an exclusive Billions Club Live concert celebrating Ed's biggest hits. This intimate one-night-only event will bring his most iconic songs to life — just for his biggest fans in Dublin.”
The performance marks another in a series of unannounced appearances from Sheeran, who has a history of secret gigs across Ireland.
In August, he surprised crowds with a performance at the Fleadh Cheoil in a Wexford pub, while one of his most memorable Dublin pop-up sets took place in Doyle's on College Street back in 2014.
Sheeran’s next major Irish show is scheduled for December 9 at Dublin’s 3Arena.
