The Dwarves treat Belfast to some wickedness this Wednesday
Lovers of diabolically good punk rock, lascivious tales of debauchery and lads dressed in luchador masks who “cannot be named” (that’d be the rarely clothed, guitar-toting creature known as HeWhoCannotBeNamed, by the way), have only one place to be on Wednesday, Aug 7 and that’s Voodoo in Belfast for a rare performance from the absolutely legendary bunch of lunatics known as the Dwarves.
Led by punk’s version of the boogeyman Blag Dahlia and also featuring Rex Everything in their ranks (AKA ex-Kyuss/Queens Of The Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri) the seminal, self confessed “close personal friends of Satan” look set to play one of the shows of the year. You have been warned.
Tickets for the show are £17.50 (plus booking fee) via wegottickets and £20 on the night. Doors open at 8.30pm. The band also play the Grand Social, Dublin on Aug 8.
