Dublin transforms into the Ultimate Oasis Fan Zone ahead of the gig weekend
Dublin gets Oasis ready ahead of this weekends gigs on August 16 and 17
The Grand Social in Dublin is transforming into an Oasis fan zone on August 16 and 17, for the long awaited return of the Britpop band.
The bar will have tributes and DJs playing across the weekend including; 'Roll With It' - Oasis Tribute 'Sonnet' - Richard Ashcroft / The Verve Tribute Act during the day and Alan McGee, Mick Cronin, Madchester, Mani from The Stone Roses DJ Sets during the night.
Oasis are set to take stage at Croke Park in Dublin on Saturday and Sunday, where 80,000 fans will fill the stadium. The Manchester brothers have recently done two nights in London at Wembley Stadium, followed by their stint in Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
Next Up: Dublin, where gigs carry some extra weight for the brothers, due to their ties to Ireland- as both their parents are Irish, they consider this a meaningful part of their identity.
