The nominations for the 2026 Mercury Prize were revealed last month - with Dove Ellis featuring on the shortlist alongside the likes of Paul McCartney, Olivia Dean, Suede and Florence + The Machine.
The Galway singer-songwriter was nominated for his acclaimed debut album, Blizzard, released in December 2025.
He also featured on another nominated album, HELP(2) - a collaboration project released in aid of War Child - appearing on the track 'Sunday Light'.
The singer-songwriter performed at select War Child benefit shows in the United States earlier this year. Alongside London's Mary in The Junkyard, he performed at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on May 27 and at Bowery Ballroom in New York on May 31.
The Mercury Prize - which recognises the best new music from the UK and Ireland - returns to Newcastle this year, with the award show set to take place at the Utilita Arena on October 22.
Presale for Dove Ellis' tour starts Thursday at 10 am, with general sale on Friday at 10 am.
