Deadwing

This London quartet have been making good old fashioned muso-rock since the late ‘80s with growing success. Their eighth studio album sports an impressive array of influences, which range from the prog-rock (Marillion/Genesis style) of ‘Lazarus’ to the Radiohead-meets-Pink Floyd textures of ‘Melletron Scratch’. One track, ‘Halo’, features former Bowie guitarist Adrian Belew. Good in parts but a tad overblown.
