David Rooney returns to the Dolmen Theatre following sold out gig last September
Folk-singer David Rooney performs this Thursday June 7 with Jay Wilson and Ruba Shamshoum.
Both Jay and Ruba featured on David’s debut album 'Bound Together’. The trio will be performing tracks from the album plus showcasing some new material at this very intimate venue. Special guests, Hidden Stills, fresh from the studio after recording their debut album, are also performing.
David Rooney, long-time illustrator to Hot Press, wrote his debut album in his early fifties. The Galway native’s album ‘Bound Together’ features songs such as ‘My Last Flare,’ ‘Ladder to the Sun’ and ‘Madeline.’
