David Bowie’s Ouvrez Le Chien live album to land on streaming services
‘Ouvrez Le Chien’ ("open the dog" in French) was recorded during a tour with Nine Inch Nails.
A previously unreleased David Bowie concert recording from his Dallas show at the Starplex Amphitheater will hit streaming services on July 3.
Ouvrez Le Chien (Dallas '95) was recorded October 13, 1995, and captures the late rock star halfway through his tour supporting the Brian Eno-produced 1995 album Outside.
The gig’s set list includes tracks 'The Voyeur of Utter Destruction (as Beauty),' 'I Have Not Been to Oxford Town,' 'I’m Deranged,' and 'The Hearts Filthy Lesson'.
The concert show Bowie performing renditions of classic hits 'Teenage Wildlife,' 'The Man Who Sold the World,' and 'Andy Warhol.'
The stunning front cover image on the digital album was photographed by Bowie’s wife Iman.
Two other performances are included on Ouvrez Le Chien; 'Moonage Daydream' and 'Under Pressure' from a December 13, 1995 Birmingham concert.
Both tracks previously appeared as B sides on the 'Hallo Spaceboy' single.
