April 1’s The Music Of David Bowie tribute gig in New York’s Radio City is being streamed live on Skype.
Fans are being asked for a small charity donation to watch the star-studded bill, which includes Mumford & Sons, Blondie, Pixies, Michael Stipe, J Mascis, Heart’s Ann Wilson, The Roots, Polyphonic Spree, Perry Farrell, Jakob Dylan, Rickie Lee Jones, Esperanza Spalding, Ron Pope, Holy Holy, the Donny McCaslin Group with Mark Guiliana, Jason Lindner & Tony Visconti and Jherek Bischoff, Amanda Palmer & Anna Calvi with the Kronos Quartet.
Tickets for the 2,800-capacity gig not surprisingly sold-out in nano-seconds.
