Daryl Hall files lawsuit against John Oates
Daryl Hall has filed a lawsuit against his former Hall and Oates bandmate, John Oates while also filing for a temporary restraining order against Oates.
Daryl Hall is suing his bandmate, John Oates. The former Hall & Oates member filed his complaint against Oates. The band formed in Philadelphia in the 1970s and have been performing together as recently as last year.
His wife, Aimee J. Oates, and Richard Flynn were also named in the complaint as co-trustees of the John W. Oates TISA Trust. in Nashville’s chancery court on Thursday, November 16.
Hall’s lawsuit is currently sealed, meaning very little information about its content is known publicly. Allegedly, the case involves “contract/debt” and a temporary restraining order was issued in the case after a $50,000 restraining bond was obtained.
The office's public request coordinator, Maria M Salas told USA TODAY in an email on Wednesday that a hearing has been scheduled for November 30.
