Daniel Johnston for Vicar St.

Daniel Johnston has announced an April 3 visit to Vicar St. with the BEAM Orchestra – an 11-piece Dutch ensemble who’ll be helping him rework his back catalogue.
There will also be an exhibition featuring over 40 of the cult American’s drawings alongside early tape covers and rare 7” record sleeves.
The even better news is that HP’s Patrick Freyne recently spoke to Mr. Johnston, with the resulting interview appearing in our first issue of 2010.
