CRUACHAN release new track from their upcoming album 'Nine Years of Blood'
Folk metal pioneers CRUACHAN release new track 'The Harp, The Lion, The Dragon And The Sword,' from their upcoming album, to give their fans a little taste of what they can expect when the album comes out.
The new single symbolises the historical and national emblems of Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland. The whole album is a chronological series of songs that tell the story of the nine years of war that were fought between England and Ireland from 1593 to 1603.
Keith Fay explains the historical relevance of the new release;
'Nine Years of Blood will take listeners on a journey through one of Ireland's bloodiest period in history, a time when we almost changed the history of the world by defeating England in huge open battles across the land. Musically you will also be taken on a journey through all styles of heavy metal, traditional folk music and classical music. We pulled out all the stops for this release."
What better weekend to start listening to some seriously patriotic anthems hey?
