Councillor Trevor Gilligan’s full album now available to stream online
Dublin based politician Trevor Gilligan’s full helloWorld album is now available to stream for free on Spotify and other streaming services.
Gilligan is from Clondalkin and represents local residents, community groups & businesses in Clondalkin, Newcastle & Rathcoole.
His venture into music has received rave reviews since his first mixtape became available to stream online a couple of months ago.
Sites such as Joe.ie described his work as "better produced and catchier than some of charting pop songs we've heard on the radio in the last few weeks and months".
The 33 year old described the finished record as a “great, all-round album”. He says “it has everything; Catchy tunes & simple lyrics backed up with tight composition & structure”.
Speaking of his songs, he says that some of them were written over 10 years ago and their release signifies “a chapter of my life I can finally close."
Trevor believes his album is the best Irish release of the year, as he believes “most albums I have listened to have maybe 1 or 2 decent tracks, with the rest being album fillers”.
“Carlsberg don't do albums, but if they did, they would probably release helloWorld".
