Could there be a Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 3?

Rumours of a possible third instalment in the Sisterhood series have been floating around for years, but the cast has remained vague about any concrete details regarding a new movie.

The gossip re-surfaced after Blake Lively uploaded a picture of herself with longtime friends Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn to her Instagram account.

This was not the first time the ladies have reunited, but it is the second time they have met up in the past few weeks. This has led some to speculate that a third Sisterhood movie is now in the realm of possibility.

A year ago, Ferrera confirmed in an interview that shooting a third film was being seriously considered.

And now, just last month, Amber Tamblyn was quoted as saying that "something is definitely in the works."

In the meantime fans will have to keep speculating, but one day the stars may align and allow for another Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants movie to be released on the big screen.

So keep your fingers crossed, because I know I will be!
