The Cinematic Orchestra releases a new single from their upcoming album alongside international tour dates.
The critically acclaimed British nu jazz and electronic music group is scheduled to perform live at Vicar Street in Dublin on March 25. This show marks their first in Ireland since 2007 and comes as part of their impending international tour.
In addition to show dates, The Cinematic Orchestra released a single from their upcoming album, To Believe, titled, ‘A Caged Bird’/’Imitations of Life’, featuring vocals from Roots Manuva.
The band will play their newest album live, in addition to songs spanning their now 20-year-long career.
Over the past two decades, the band has received high praise for their critically-acclaimed albums, songs from which have been featured in a slew of well-known television shows and films including Orange is the New Black, The Theory of Everything and This is Us.
Selling hundreds of thousands of albums since the release of their debut record, Motion, in 1999, and garnering nearly half a billion streams, The Cinematic Orchestra has played a significant role in today’s keenness for jazz-centred music.
To Believe will be released on March 15. Tickets for their international tour, including dates in Ireland, will be available for purchase beginning this Friday 18 January at 9 am from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and www.ticketmaster.ie
