Chris Martin joins Ash
Well sort of ... Not content with priming their Meltdown album for April release, Ash have recorded a cover of the Buzzcocks' 'Everybody's Happy Nowadays' with one C. Martin on backing-vocals.
The track – which rocks like a complete bastard – graces the end credits of the spoof Irish zombie movie, Shaun Of The Dead, which opens here on April 9.
It's not the first time Ash have engaged in a cinematic collaboration with the Coldplay mainman – Martin cameoing last year in the band's own Slashed gorefest.
Finally, we thought you might like to gawp at this new promo shot
