The Californian musician returns to Dublin this January to perform songs from his new album Mangy Love.
Following a collaborative album with The Skiffle Players earlier this year, Mangy Love is the eighth studio album by Californian folk-pop troubadour Cass McCombs. Combining elements of folk, country and psychedelia, the result is an eclectic jumble held together by McCombs' honeyed vocals.
Thematically, it’s far darker, tackling heavy issues through McCombs’ uniquely cracked lens of (oftentimes hilarious) lyrical wit. There are guest appearances by many fellow musicians of his tribe ranging from Angel Olsen to Blake Mills.
Cass McCombs is bringing his interntional tour to Ireland and will perform at Whelan's on January 20.
Tickets are priced at €18.50 and go on sale this Tuesday 18th October at 9am through www.whelanslive.com, ticketmaster.ie & usual outlets nationwide.
