Very impressive debut from Mocrac - aka Maurice Ferriter – who rallies an impressive roll-call of home-grown musicians on this clever blend of electronica/acoustica. The knee-jerk comparison would be with Air but further investigation reveals a much wider range of influences with hints of Portishead, Lambchop and Wilco on tracks such as ‘Goodbye Fender Rhodes’, ‘Country’ and ‘Waldorf’.
