There won't be a band left in the country come March!
The full line-up of Irish acts performing at the Candian Music Week and SXSW in March has been confirmed.
Getting some Northern exposure in Toronto are Autumn Owls, Butterfly Explosion, Funeral Suits, Halves, James Vincent McMorrow, Kill Krinkle Klub, Kormac’s Big Band, Lost Chord, Miracle Bell, Preacher’s Son, Sacred Animals, The Dirty 9’s and Windings. The official Music From Ireland showcase takes place there on March 10 in The Hideout.
Canada conquered it’s off to Austin, Texas where Adebisi Shank, Funeral Suits, General Fiasco, Halves, Ham Sandwich, James Vincent McMorrow, Kopek, Kormac’s Big Band, LaFaro, O Emperor, Oh Ruin, Pierce Turner, R.S.A.G., Ram’s Pocket Radio, Sacred Animals, Sweet Jane, The Lost Brothers, The Mighty Stef and The Minutes are flying the flag for Ireland.
The two MFI showcases are a Paddy’s Day one in Friends and the following morning’s Full Irish Breakfast in B.D. Riley’s.
