Buck Meek announces Whelan's gig for 2026

Texan folk singer Buck Meek has announced he will play a solo gig at Whelan's on March 16, 2026.
Meek is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for renowned indie-rock band Big Thief, who have just released their 6th studio album, Double Infinity, earlier this month.
Meek has released three solo albums, his last being Haunted Mountain which was released in August 2023. The last time he toured in Ireland was with Big Thief in February of 2022.
Dublin marks the first date on Meek's tour, with UK and further European dates to continue into April 2026.
Meek will also join Big Thief in touring their latest album with a show at the 3Arena in Dublin on April 29.
Tickets for Meek's Whelan's gig can be found here, with presale to begin on October 1 at 10am and general sale to commence on October 2 at the same time.
