With a career spanning over three decades two of Browne’s albums, 1974’s Late For The Sky and 1986’s Lives In The Balance have featured in Rolling Stone’s ‘Best 100 Albums’ of all time. In February 2002, Browne received the John Steinbeck Award during the centennial celebration of the writer’s birth. Previous recipients include Bruce Springsteen and Arthur Miller.
