Britney Spears' New Album Knocks Lisa Hannigan Off Top Spot
At Swim spends just one week at the top as Britney Spears climbs straight to Number 1 on the Irish Album Charts.
Glory is the eighth album from the Mississippi singer. Working alongside Ian Kirkpatrick, one of the lead producer of Justin Bieber's album Purpose , the album matches its high production values alongside the singer's powerful vocal delivery. The songs on this album are akin to the type of music Britney was releasing at the height of her success in the early '00s.
Lisa Hannigan and Frank Ocean take their places as 2nd and 3rd respectively and Ed Sheeran's X make a return to the top 5; the album is currently in its 115th week on the Irish charts.
