Bono recaps the ridiculousness of 2016 with help from Herbie Hancock and Halsey
Even Bono can't get tickets to Hamilton.
Well, we're coming to the end of an insane year, and if you're having as hard a time wrapping your head around the craziness that is 2016 as we are, then maybe Bono can help. On Jimmy Kimmel last night, the U2 star teamed up with Herbie Hancock and Halsey to rewrite a Cole Porter classic all about 2016. They covered such topics as the death of Vine, Pokemon (Bono never caught a Squirtle) and (spoilers) the death and not-death of Jon Snow. They also poked fun at Kimmel's decision to grow a beard for 2016.
It was all for a good cause, as they performed the song for an episode to help raise funds for Bono's Project Red an organisation helping to fight the AIDS epidemic. Watch the performance, along with Kimmel's interview with Bono about the organisation below.
