Bob Dylan announces Dublin gig as part of Rough And Rowdy Ways Tour
Tickets go on sale next week.
Bob Dylan has announced a headline show at the 3Arena in Dublin as part of his upcoming Rough And Rowdy Ways European Tour – taking place on November 7, 2022.
Like Dylan's other shows on the tour, the Dublin gig will be phone-free – meaning concert-goers will be using special locked pouches, operated by Yondr.
The tour is in support of the legendary singer-songwriter and Nobel Prize winner's 2020 album, Rough and Rowdy Ways. He arrives in Ireland following a run of European and UK dates.
This year saw the opening of the Bob Dylan Archive in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As the VIP opening ceremonies and events unfurled, a newly remade building on Reconciliation Way became the centre of the universe for those who admire Dylan and his works. Anne Margaret Daniel was among those in attendance – read her report for Hot Press, which went on to be highlighted on Dylan's website, here.
Tickets for Dylan's 3Arena gig go on sale on Thursday, September 1, at 9am. See Ticketmaster for more information.
Last year, Hot Press celebrated Dylan's 80th birthday with a special issue – featuring contributions from Fontaines D.C., Villagers, David Keenan, Inhaler, Judy Collins and more.
