Black Country, New Road to release second album in February
The English rock band have also shared their latest single, 'Chaos Space Marine,' which you can listen to below.
Black Country, New Road have announced their upcoming album, Ants From Up There. The seven-piece band's second album will be released February 4, 2022 via Ninja Tune.
The English rock band, who were on the short list for the 2021 Mercury Prize for their debut album For the first time, recorded Ants From Up There at Isle of Wright's Chale Abbey Studios over the summer.
The first single from the album, 'Chaos Space Marine,' has been released. Frontman Isaac Wood said it was "the best song we've ever written."
“We threw in every idea anyone had with that song. So the making of it was a really fast, whimsical approach – like throwing all the shit at the wall and just letting everything stick,” he added.
Black Country, New Road are also set to embark upon a tour of the UK and Ireland in 2022 after the album's release. They will be performing at Belfast's The Empire on April 10 and Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre on April 11.
This year, they will perform at Whelan's in Dublin on December 15, 2021. Tickets are available on ticketmaster.ie.
