Bjork Reveals Release Date and Cover of New Album
Björk has revealed that her new album Utopia will be released on November 24.
The cover was made by Jesse Kanda, a Japanese artist based in London who has collaborated in the past with FKA Twigs.
Bjork took to twitter this afternoon to reveal the image and thank those who assisted by saying "thank you for telepathically getting me".
Utopia will be Bjork's tenth studio album and the follow up to 2015's Vulnicura.
In recent interviews, Bjork has commented that Utopia will be much more hopeful thematically than her last and will feature a 12 piece Icelandic flute section.
So far, Björk has shared a music video for her single “The Gate,” which features a Gucci dress that took 870 hours to make.
Director of the video Andrew Thomas Huang described it as “the first glimpse into Björk’s utopia".
