Beyoncé and Jay-Z put up New Orleans mansion for sale after fire
The superstar couple's mansion was damaged in an alleged arson attempt earlier this year.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly selling a New Orleans mansion after it was apparently damaged.
Although the power couple own the property, the phone number of the supposed owner is registered to a Mississippi-based immigration attorney.
The listing for the site links viewers to a broken or nonexistent website and photos included in the home's Zillow listing were apparently from 2015 when the house was last sold, according to real estate site Dirt.
Reportedly, the mansion was damaged during an alleged arson attempt on the property in a fire that burned for two hours and required 22 firefighters to extinguish.
The 1920s home, La Casa de Castille, is described as having seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, high ceilings, a main residence with three 1,000 square-foot apartments and "all kinds of nooks and crannies to hide with a book" and a rooftop garden.
It's also stated that the sellers have also offered to paint the house to any colour the buyer chooses before the deal closes.
In an interesting quote in the listing, a 'Grammy winner' is cited as saying, "The acoustics and vibes are great. I did my best writing ever, while watching the sunset from the rooftop garden!"
