Belfast's Duellists unleash new single 'Perspective'
The band recorded their studio album in 2018 and is set for release later this month.
Noise band Duellists release a new single ahead of their new album Into The Fade.
Their single, Perspective, is an abrasive and energizing track with a rumbling lead up. Singer Pete creates a nice juxtaposition between aggressive metal shrieks and soothing, echoing vocals.
His voice is congested with anger as he yells the lyrics; “Got no perspective, got no soul / but at least you’ve got your pride” leaves a lasting impression.
Throughout the song, there is a thunderous rhythm of the drums that harmonises with the lightning guitar and bass. The instrumentals steal the show with a bone shaking guitar solo penultimate to the last chorus.
First forming in 2015, Duellists have shared stages with the likes of noise-rock legends Clutch and Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes.
