At The Drive-In release first new song in 16 years 'Governed By Contagions'

After 16 years of various side projects, the American post-hardcore band have finally coalesced to bring out new music and have promised that a new album is on the way.

‘Governed by Contagions’ picks up where seminal album Relationship of Command left off, moving at breakneck speed with Cedric Bixler keeping the decibel levels high as ever.

The band wrote simply “Resume transmission” on their Facebook page as they posted the new track, a nod to the chorus of ‘One Armed Scissor’ and possibly the title of the new album the single will appear on.

The LP has been produced by Rich Cotsey with band guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. At the Drive-In were recently confirmed for 2017’s Reading and Leeds festivals.
