Ash to play Belfast's Music Live festival
Wheeler and company will be rocking the floating pontoon on May 1 as part of the BBC Music Live festival
Ash are the lastest additions to the BBC Music Live bill which is happening in Belfast from April 28 to May 3.
The quartet will be playing the floating stage next to the Waterfront Hall on May 1. As previously revealed on hotpress.com, the pontoon will be graced on April 30 by Alanis Morrissette and Paddy Casey.
Back in Ashland, St. Patrick's Day found the band joined on stage at the London Islington Carling Academy by ex-Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson.
"I'm not sure if we're fit to lick the dirt off his boots," said a typically understated Tim Wheeler as Robbo joined them for turbocharged versions of 'The Boys Are Back In Town', 'Darkside/Lightside' and 'Burn Baby Burn'.
"I fucking loved it," Wheeler enthused afterwards. "He's one of my greatest guitar heroes."
