Ash horror movie finally surfaces online
Charlotte gets its with an axe while Chris Martin investigates!
Ash’s fabled snuff film – well, 6 minutes and 43 seconds of it – has been turned into an alternate video for the band’s latest A To Z single, ‘Binary’.
Recorded during their vodka-fuelled 2002 world tour, Slashed includes cameos from Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland and Foo Fighter Dave Grohl.
While unlikely to have Dario Argento, George A. Romero, Wes Craven and the rest of the horror gang looking to their laurels, it’s a great bit of hokum, which all concerned had great fun making.
Available now from [link]www.ash-official.com[/link] and the usual digital platforms, ‘Binary’ also comes with a ‘Co-Pilots Flying Through Ash Remix’ courtesy of Bloc Party’s Russell Lissack.
