Amigo The Devil: Murderfolk Landing In Ireland Next January
The artist is coming back to Europe in the beginning of next year and for his first time on Irish soil will perform his macabre ballads in Dublin, Galway and Clonakilty.
Aiken Promotions is presenting Amigo The Devil live at The Sound House, Dublin, on the 29th January 2020, as the poster child for the very narrow genre of murder-folk within the indie horror rock scene.
Through his anticipated debut album Everything is Fine, Miami native Danny Kiranos, appears to have mastered the delicate art of balancing out an introspective darkness with the softness and wholesomeness of the traditional folk music genre.
The feel of a throbbing misanthropy emanates from his music. It is in no way a mean to glorify fatalism, has explained Kiranos, but more so an attempt to humanize and understand the mechanisms behind pain and fear.
All in all, Amigo the Devil promises to offer a very unique approach to folk rock coupled with metal roots, exploring gruesome realities and gut-wrenching emotions, but never hopeless.
Tickets €16.00 inclusive of booking fee, on sale Wednesday 3rd July at 10AM.
