Aidan Gillen joins Bohemian Rhapsody cast

Fresh from bagging the lead role in the new Dave Allen biopic, Aidan Gillen is to play the man who managed Queen from1975-8, John Reid, in the Freddie Mercury film, Bohemian Rhapsody. As previously reported by Hot Press, Armagh thesp Aaron McCusker has bagged the role of Freddie’s Cavan hairdresser lover, Jim Hutton, while Sing Street star Lucy Boynton is portraying his lifelong friend, Mary Austen.
Gillen’s preposterously busy schedule also includes a TV update of John Le Carré’s The Spy Who Came In From The Cold and James And Lucia, the Robert Mullan film in which he plays Mr. Joyce
