Adele dismisses rumours she turned down Beyoncé collab
The 'Hello' singer says "Queen Bey to the day I die."
An hour-long interview with Adele airs on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show tonight in which the British star dismisses claims that she turned down the chance to duet with Beyoncé on her forthcoming album 25.
Setting the record straight, she tells Lowe:
"There is a rumour going around that I turned Beyoncé down. Just to clear up, I would never be so disrespectful. I would never disrespect her like that. I'm such a fan, oh my god!"
She goes on to cite the 'Crazy In Love' artist as one of her favourite musicians, along with Lana Del Rey and Alabama Shakes: "Obviously, Queen Bey to the day I die."
25, Adele's third album, drops this Friday. In our current issue (Edge cover), we trip through the back-pages of Hot Press to tell her remarkable story.
