AC/DC drummer Chris Slade for Whelan's visit

Drum nuts and AC/DC obsessives will be hitting Whelan's on June 30 for a special clinic with Chris Slade.
The Welsh drummer - who, apart from being the stickman on the epic 'Thunderstruck', also recorded with everyone from Tom Jones to Gary Numan - will visit the Wexford St venue to offer fans a chance to hang, chat and learn.
There's also more than the usual meet-and-greet goodies on offer too; ticketholders will also receive a t-shirt, signed drumsticks, a signed drumhead, and a photo with the star.
Be warned, though; this is for the hardcore only. Tickets are priced at €180, and go on sale from Whelan's this Friday.
