Absolute Lilt sign to Heavenly Recordings and announce debut single

‘P Stands For Paddy’ is due out this Friday, May 22.
Absolute Lilt — the collaborative project between Lisa Canny and Niamh Hinchy of BIIRD — have signed to Heavenly Recordings, and announced the release of their debut single for Friday, May 22.
Titled ‘P Stands For Paddy’, the tune is “a swirling, hypnotic song that fuses two perfect voices into something both Balearic and unmistakably Irish,” according to its official description.

With their project Absolute Lilt, Canny and Hinchy offer a unique take on one of Ireland’s oldest vocal traditions, lilting.
The duo are set to perform at Beyond the Pale next month, making a stop at the Glendalough Estate on June 12.
‘P Stands For Paddy’ comes out this Friday.
