25th anniversary spectacular for The Frank & Walters
Cork heroes to play Jazz Fest headliner
In October of 1989, three young lads travelled from Bishopstown to De Barra's in Clonakilty to play a gig. That was the birth of Cork musical royalty - the first night of The Frank & Walters.
Now, 25 years later, those three same fellas are celebrating their silver anniversary with a very special show at Cork Opera House, as part of the Guinness Jazz Festival.
Along the way, there's been six studio albums, a stream of indie classics, and the famous night when -along with The Sultans of Ping - Cork took over Top of the Pops.

The Opera House gig promises to be a true celebration, with special guests and a whole lot of nostalgia. Taking place on October 25, tickets are out now.
