Open Ear Festival begins late May on Sherkin Island
The festival is not one to miss for all electronic and experimental lovers.
Set sail to Sherkin Island, West Cork where the Open Ear Festival will take place from 30 May-2 June.
Line-up: Garies, Radie Peat, Jennifer Walshe, Aaron Dilloway & Vicky Langan, J Colleran, Fran Hartnett, T-WOC, Woven Skull, Patrick Kelleher & His Cold Dead Hands, Ocean Floor, S>>D, Club Comfort, Cáit, Dylan Kerr, Eliza, Bodycam, Safetyboy and many more
Open Ears on Sherkin Island offers an eye-opening pilgrimage for lovers of all things experimental and electronic, spanning from eccentric sounds to thumping bass. In its fourth year, it's still fresh and authentic and shines a light on emerging acts, making sure that you leave the island with some new favourites. Further emphasising the creative ethos, extra-curricular activities will be dotted around different locations across the island. You'll be surrounded by views of the glorious Sherkin Island: the proverbial cherry on top of what's already set to be an unreal weekend - in the best sense.
Hot Press Picks: With decades spent at the helm of the techno sphere, the sheer vibrations alone will be enough to draw a crowd to Fran Hartnett's bone-rattling set.
