The Killarney Grand is hiring an enthusiastic Music Talent Booker
For over 27 years, The Killarney Grand has been recognised as one of the hottest venues for live music and entertainment in Ireland.
Live music and nightlife hub The Killarney Grand is looking for a passionate and experienced music talent booker to join their team.
Located in the heart of Killarney town centre, The Killarney Grand has entertained thousands of visitors over the years. Live bands, traditional Irish musicians and a club DJ perform at the venue every night, creating the perfect time for friends and an easy excuse for a good night out.
The hotel’s Moroccan-themed nightclub is known for its state of the art technology including its sound and lighting systems, which is one reason guests come back week after week.
The venue also offers its beloved upstairs "liquid lounge", where guests can order wines, cocktails and other drinks while being serenaded with live piano music.
Many famous Irish acts have played live at The Killarney Grand, including Paddy Casey, Sharon Shannon and Christy Moore. Top DJs from Kerry, Cork and Limerick also come to play the latest hits for crowds seven nights a week.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to join a vibrant team of music lovers. Responsibilities of the Music Talent Booker include scouting out musical talent, fostering strong relationships with performers and talent agencies, and overseeing and repairing audio, light and stage equipment.
The right candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in talent booking and event production, demonstrate strong communication and multi-tasking skills, and is self-motivated and genuinely passionate about music and event production.
