Roz Purcell and Emma Power replace rock journalist Dave Fanning on RTÉ 2FM
After Dave Fanning of The Dave Fanning Show stepped down from his weekend slot on RTÉ 2FM, influencer Roz Purcell and 2FM presenter Emma Power have taken over his time-slot
Irish model and influencer Rozanna "Roz" Purcell and 2FM's Emma Power are replacing Irish radio broadcaster and rock journalist Dave Fanning on 2FM's airwaves.
From 12PM to 3PM Saturdays and Sundays, the two will host a radio show, covering "tunes, chat and giveaways."
"Listeners can guess if their celebrity guest is spoofing or telling the truth, and get a warm hug when Roz and Emma tell you what stories gave them all the feels that week."
Roz Purcell is an cookery author and the founder of The Hike Life. Power has worked with the station since 2014 on her Sunday Request Show - a slot that will be filled by Conor Behan.

The two previously worked together on The 2 Johnnies of 2FM's Drive It for three weeks in June 2022.
"Roz and Emma on 2FM is where you need to be at weekends!" An RTE spokesperson said.
"We are thrilled that Roz Purcell is joining the weekend team, broadcasting with Emma Power. 2FM will also have an exciting night-time schedule which is also being revamped with Jenny Greene, Dave Treacy, Conor Behan, Mo K, DJ Wax and Beta Da Silva."
The switch was also confirmed online, RTÉ 2FM posting a new schedule for the weekend with the caption: "2FM Weekends look like this" and a fire emoji.

The announcement comes a few days after Fanning confirmed he was stepping down from running his weekend radio show The Dave Fanning Show. The show's been on-air since the 70s, although it has bounced between the RTÉ 2FM and RTÉ Radio 1 stations.
The RTÉ host championed U2 over 45 years ago before they became extremely famous. While leaving his weekend radio show spot behind, Fanning says he will still be present a new show on RTÉ Gold and continue his Fanning at Whelan's TV show.
He also has plans to launch the new Fanning podcast on RTÉ Radio Player. He says that he's been "thinkin' 'bout this for the past few years" and will be redirecting his time to "spread the word of Fanning on the digital empire."
Dan Healy, the Head of RTÉ 2FM, said that "Dave Fanning is and will always be a cultural leader in Ireland. Dave's judgement to move his content to the world of digital audio is smart and also no surprise."
