Minding Creative Minds (MCM) will host their next monthly, free and online meetup on Monday, October 23 at 7.00pm, hosted by BIMM Head of Careers, Industry and Events Ann Marie Shields. Registration is open now for anyone within the diverse Irish Creative Sector.
Minding Creative Minds, Ireland's first 24/7 Support and Wellbeing Programme for all of Ireland (32 counties) and the Irish Overseas Creative Sector, offers an array of services for Irish creatives. Their next free, online monthly meetup is now open for registration and will take place this coming Monday, October 23 at 7.00pm.
The Irish Creative Sector is expansive and diverse, which is why MCM’s monthly meet-and-greets offer a space for creatives to source core information regarding their services, learn about and from peers, and share advice. The forthcoming meetup will be hosted by Ann Marie Shields, MCM director and Head of Careers, Industry and Events at BIMM Institute Dublin.
Sign up now via the registration form to be part of a welcoming social community whose common bond is a passion for the creative world. Sectors who can utilise MCM’s services include Music, Theatre, Film, Visual and Street Art, Dance, Literature and more, with more information on their website.
MCM Founder Dave Reid with HozierThose attending the monthly meeting set the agenda for what will be shared, discussed and focused on during the call. When registering, if there is a particular area or question you wish to be covered during the meeting but would like a private response, simply write that request in the registration form. MCM doesn’t promise to have all the answers, but they do strive to find someone who will.
Founder Dave Reid announced two new features to the community, one being an extension of the MCM Planning for the Future survey, which is still open for completion until October 20 at the link here.
Additionally, Reid shared that details for the newest series of the MCM personal development and career centred workshop and masterclass programme will be announced in the coming weeks, so stay up to date with the programme through their Instagram.
If you are still curious about an enquiry brought up during the meetup or would like an update, feel free to ask by emailing [email protected] after the session. The email is also available for any general enquiries.
MCM is 100% free and confidential, and also offers a 24/7 phone line with access to an experienced team of trained counsellors and psychotherapists who can offer medium-term intervention (12 sessions) and advice covering practical, day-to-day issues that cause anxiety and stress.
Their other services include counselling sessions, specialist trauma and abuse counselling, legal or financial assistance, a specialist career focused mentoring programme, and career focused masterclasses and workshops for the Irish Creative Sector.
