Netflix releases trailer for Making a Murderer Part 2
The trailer for the hotly anticipated second installment of Making a Murderer has been released online, and it looks just as gripping as the first...
The first part of Making a Murderer introduced the world to Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey, two Wisconsin men convicted of the brutal murder of photographer Teresa Halbach. Filmmakers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos followed the twists and turns of this case for over a decade, documenting the possibility of a massive miscarriage of justice. At the end of Making a Murderer’s first ten episodes, Steven and Brendan had been sentenced to life in prison.
Over the course of 10 new episodes, Making a Murderer Part 2 provides an in-depth look at the high-stakes postconviction process, exploring the emotional toll it takes on all involved. In the new installments, Steven’s story attracts the attention of Kathleen Zellner, a hard-charging Chicago-based lawyer who specializes in overturning wrongful convictions. She takes up Steven’s case and assembles a host of world-class experts who employ the latest scientific methods, raising serious questions about the forensic evidence used to convict Steven over a decade ago...
