Since then, according to court documents obtained by Page Six, he has now filed to dismiss his petition for dissolution. The document states that the pair will instead “pursue an amicable resolution of all issues” after reaching “various agreements” during mediation.
The current state of Turner's UK divorce case is currently unknown while Joe has moved to drop his Miami divorce case.
It is said that an “amicable resolution on all issues between them is forthcoming” in regard to the case and the custody of their two daughters.
Seemingly an “amicable resolution on all issues between them is forthcoming.”
In a joint statement via People, the pair stated: “After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents.”
It is said that their children will remain with Turner from October 9 to 21 and will be free to move between the States and the UK. From then they will be with Jonas till November 2.
Sophie had previously filed a petition in Manhattan, claiming the couple’s two children had been “wrongfully retained” in “New York City from their habitual residence of England”.
It is understood that the actor's good friend Taylor Swift loaned her New York apartment to Turner and her two daughters while custody arrangements were being agreed on.
