Making its bow this year is Blood Monkey, an Origin Green-certified Irish craft gin triple-distilled for smoothness, which picked up Best Contemporary Gin In Ireland at the 2023 World Gin Awards.

Looking as good as it tastes in its designer bottles, this sophisticated sipping gin comes in three expressions – Batch No. 0001 (smooth, warm citrus spice based on a 17th Century genever recipe); Spice Storm (think orange and cardamom); and Tropical Storm (expect notes of mango, lime leaf, Szechuan pepper and rosemary).

Ingredients:
50ml Blood Monkey’s Irish Craft Gin
25ml lemon juice
10ml simple syrup

Method:
Shake all ingredients over ice
Serve with cracked black pepper and rosemary
