The Dublin Beer Festival has announced the line-up of Irish breweries – and cider-ies! – taking part in September 13 and 14's RDS, Dublin extravaganza.
They are – deep breath! – Eight Degrees, Brehon, Dungarvan, Hilden, Galway Bay, Hope, Hopefully, Jack Smyth, Foxes Rock, Legacy Irish Craft Cider, Lineman, Lough Gill, O’Hara’s, Outer Place, Rascals, Dew Drop, Rye River, Trouble, Wicklow, H, Wicklow Wolf, Bullhouse, Killarney and Wide Street.
Also supplying kegs for the Communal Bar are Black Donkey, Kinnegar, Third Barrel, Brouwerij and Demolen, Stonewell and Tempted.
The large contingent of very welcome foreign interlopers includes 2 Crows, Lone Pine, Portland Zoo, Vault City, Baxbier, Brewski, Mad Scientist, Moersleutel, Garrison, Horizon T and Zichovec.
"We're thrilled to bring a global perspective to our event, with breweries joining us from as far as Portland Maine, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Hungary, Sweden, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Scotland,” enthuses festival co-founder Seamus O’Hara.
There will also be big low and zero alcohol, wine, spirits and kombucha offerings with Blacks, The Corkscrew, Dingle and Micil all on board.
"We're excited to cater to a new generation of mindful drinkers," adds the festival’s other leading light, Bruce Mansour. "Our kombucha and mocktails will ensure everyone can enjoy the festival atmosphere, regardless of their drinking habits."
The other exciting news is that Team Hop Press will be in the thick of the beery action with our man Stuart Clark hosting a series of ‘Meet The Brewers’ chats across the two nights.
Add in cool tunes and quality eats and it’s an event you will not want to miss.
Tickets are available now from https://dublinbeerfest.ie with more – lots more! – on the Dublin Beer Festival in our September issue.
