The publication said that "these overlooked spots offer great (or quiet) alternatives to the classics".
Bray, Co. Wicklow has been named by Time Out magazine as one of the most underrated destinations in the world for the second time in a row.

Time Out suggests that readers: "Stroll from the harbour along the esplanade to the 800-foot high Bray Head, worth the hour’s climb for panoramic views from its rocky summit. Refuel at Butler & Barry on the beach, before a Guinness at ace local institution the Harbour Bar".
The list includes tropical island, bijou city destinations and breathtaking mountains.
Bray was one of a handful of European destinations on the list, presented alongside Sibiu, Romania, Karpathos, Greece, Srebrenik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turku in Finland and Plymouth in England.
Coming in at number 1 on the list was Finlandia Colombia which the publication proposed as an alternative to visiting the overrun Salento.
