WATCH: Trailer for new Irish crime thriller, No Ordinary Heist
In cinemas on Friday March 27, its stars include the IFTA-winning Éanna Hardwicke, Eva Birthistle and Michelle Fairley
Team Hot Press is looking forward to the March 27 release of No Ordinary Heist, a high-octane thriller drawing inspiration from true events that occurred in Belfast in 2004.
Commonly referred to as the Northern Bank Job, the homes of two bank officials were taken over shortly before Christmas, and the employees threatened with their families being harmed if they didn't help facilitate the £26.5 million heist that followed – the biggest robbery of its kind ever committed in Ireland or the UK. No one has ever been prosecuted for the crime.
Directed by Colin McIvor, its stellar casts includes the IFTA-winning Éanna Hardwicke, Eddie Marsan, Eva Birthistle and Michelle Fairley.
