A new trailer has been released for Luca Guadagnino's highly anticipated romantic drama QUEER starring Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey (Outer Banks, The Hate You Give)
The movie, produced by A24, will be released in Irish cinemas on December 13.
QUEER is based on the novel of the same name written by William S. Burroughs, which was written between 1951 and 1953. The novel was not released until 1985 because of its content which was considered scandalous at the time to American publishers.
The movies screenplay is written by Justin Kuritzkes and scored by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of the band Nine Inch Nails. All of whom worked with Guadagnino on his most recent release, Challengers.
Based in '50s Mexico City, the film is centred around American expat William Lee (Daniel Craig) and his chance encounter with former soldier Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey),which, according to the films logline "shows him, for the first time, that it might be finally possible to establish an intimate connection with somebody."
